Dominican Republic Weddings

Are you excited to spend long, sunny days at an all-inclusive resort with your wedding party? Are you looking for a beach wedding package that fits both your budget and laid back style? Then the Dominican Republic is an excellent choice for your destination wedding. It enjoys the same white sand and warm Caribbean beaches as all the other islands, with a ton of new all-inclusive resorts recently built. This is why the Dominican Republic performs hundreds of beach weddings each year.

Dominican Republic Marriage Requirements:
Weddings in the Dominican Republic are relatively simple. There is no waiting period or blood tests. Wedding couples must show proper identification and pay a marriage license fee. Also, most destination wedding couples choose to get married in a civil ceremony, in front of a government official, and then hold a separate wedding ceremony for family and friends.

When’s the best time to get married in the Dominican Republic?
The Dominican Republic offers year-round sunshine and warm breezes. The summer months tend to be hot and humid. There isn’t a “cold” season, so your beach wedding guests are pretty much guaranteed sun and warm weather. But, there is the chance of hurricanes in the summer and fall months. So, consider the risks when planning your Dominican Republic wedding.
