3. Back to basics - Destination wedding couples are getting back to basics and choosing more traditional attire for grooms, including black tuxes, and classic wedding photos.

4. Eco-chic - Couples love being environmentally chic in their wedding. They are picking local flowers and food for their destination wedding. This is both environmentally smart and is a great way to build in the local flavor of the destination.

5. Go online - With social media taking off, 2010 will see more and more couples use the web to both research and share their wedding. Whether it is Facebook for photo sharing or Twitter for ceremony updates, destination wedding couples are keeping everyone “plugged in”.
