Featured on the Today Show and in Us Weekly, Anguilla is now the talk of many destination wedding seekers. Known for its luxury hotels and celebrity sightings, Anguilla is the ultimate luxury wedding location. Transportation:
The only airport is the Anguilla Airport (AXA). Since it is a smaller airport, most flights from the U.S. connect in Miami. Anguilla is fairly small and taxis are available, so a rental car is not needed.

Anguilla Marriage Requirements:
U.S. citizens are permitted to get married in Anguilla. The bride and groom are required to come into the Court Registry 2 days or 48 hours prior to the wedding to apply for a marriage license. Licenses and processing fees usually run around $200-300 U.S. total. If one partner stays in Anguilla for at least fifteen days prior to registering for the license, the license only costs USD$40. No blood tests are required. If you have previously been married, you have to show a proof of divorce. To register for your marriage license, go to the Judicial Department between 8:30am and 2:30pm. All marriages are performed by the Magistrate at the Court House or by a Minister of religion who is a registered Marriage Officer for Anguilla. If you want to have a Roman Catholic ceremony more paperwork and three to six months notice is required

Anguilla offers year-round warm weather for your destination wedding. It enjoys an average temperature of 80 degress F. Anguilla is in the hurricane belt, so be cautious of planning your wedding date in the summer or fall.
